The T.A.C. C-35 is built with an aluminium and acrylic housing and uses tubes in the signal path for a warmer output character: a 6N10 tube drives the headphone output and two 12AX7 tubes sit in the audio output stage. A Burr-Brown PCM1732 decoder handles 24-bit/96kHz playback with HDCD decoding and 8x oversampling for, in the manufacturer's words, "very fine treble resolution and excellent spatial qualities." D/A conversion 24-bit/96kHz, frequency response 20Hz-20kHz (+/-0.5dB), THD 95dB, dynamic range >100dB, 2.5V audio output, channel separation >90dB, 2x stereo RCA and 1x coaxial digital output.
