The CD-S1.2 processes external digital inputs via optical, coaxial or USB connections through a Burr-Brown PCM1796 chip. The analog section employs two 6N16 tubes for what Vincent describes as "a homogeneous and distinctive sound." D/A conversion 24-bit/192kHz, frequency response 20Hz-20kHz, THD 94dB, dynamic range >100dB, with optical, coaxial, USB, RCA and XLR connectivity. Dimensions 430 x 106 x 342mm, weight 8.5kg.
