CLASSIC DESIGN

The lute shape that characterizes many Sonus faber models has been redesigned to ensure perfect control over internal resonances.

THE VOICE OF SONUS FABER

The midrange design of the Sonetto V builds upon the Sonus faber Suprema midrange technology. It incorporates the distinct untainted Camelia diaphragm, renowned for its clarity and precision. Additionally, the inclusion of a carefully engineered aluminum phase plug ensures optimal dispersion and coherence. The result is an immersive and lifelike listening experience emblematic of the Natural Sound known as “The Voice of Sonus faber.”

CORK

The special combination of tweeters and midrange drivers is housed within a distinctive cork chamber specifically tailored for internal volume, aiming to elevate the drivers' performance. Inherited from the flagship Suprema speaker, the acoustic characteristics of this material significantly contribute to the clarity and organic sound of the midrange output.

CAMELIA MIDRANGE SPEAKER

Initially developed for Suprema, the Camelia midrange speaker features the organic basket with a membrane inspired by the shape of the camelia flower. Its shape, with its five cuts, avoids the resonances found in typical circular shapes and enhances the Natural Sound signature to Sonus faber. The membrane is left unpainted to ensure total sound purity.

45° WOOD

The wood veneer with the 45° finish, familiar in prestigious products such as Stradivari, Amati, and the entire Homage series, is also found in the design new Sonetto G2 collection. The 45° angle wood veneer enriches the style of this unique collection and accentuates the hand-crafted artisanry of Sonus faber.

FLOWER PATTERNED SURROUND

The rubber driver surround utilizes a unique floral pattern that encases the sandwich cone structure of the Sonetto V woofers. Its asymmetric shape breaks the circular modes of the driver and ensures greater linearity in sound reproduction, reducing interference and improving sound dispersion.

TWEETER COPPER CUP

The tweeter in the Sonetto G2 collection features state-of-the-art Silk Dome DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome) technology. With a response extending beyond 30kHz, made possible by the incorporation of a copper cup, the tweeter reproduces the finest nuances in the audio spectrum, ensuring exceptional clarity and detail in the pristine sound reproduction of Sonetto V
